Faculty
As of July 2020, SEM of Chongqing Jiaotong University has 176 faculty members, including 36 professors and 54 associate professors; 1 expert enjoying the special allowance of the State Council; 6 academic and technical leaders and reserve candidates of Chongqing Municipality and the Ministry of Transport; 24 National Association directors and executive directors, 36 professional practicing teachers and 2 editorial board members of international journals.135 full-time faculty members, including 45 professors, 53 associate professors, and 37 assistant professors. 119 faculty members have Ph.D.s from top Chinese or international universities. Four hold Cheung Kong Scholar Professorships, and five are recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.Since 2002, Tsinghua SEM has recruited special-term professors from the world’s top universities and research institutions. In addition to offering world-class courses for students, these professors play an active role in mentoring young faculty members and furthering their academic disciplines.
Changli Zhang
Changli Zhang holds the degrees of BA (Chongqing), MTCSOL(Beijing).
Changli has been worked in the language center of Oulu University, Finland as a Chinese teacher. Main courses are Chinese culture and social custom, comprehensive Chinese and business Chinese. Five years professional experience in teaching Chinese to non-Chinese speakers.
Ke Chen
Ke Chen holds the degrees of BA (Shanghai), BSc(Sichuan) and PhD(Shanghai). She is a visiting scholar at University of Sydney in 2004, at Ristumeikan University in 2008, and at University of Bridgeport in 2013. She acts as an associate professor of Economics. She has done several academic works in capital account liberation, financial contagion and marketing data analysis. Her current research interests lie in the areas of non-structure data analysis, risk or return transmission in security markets, and FTZ in Chongqing.
Ke Gong
Ke Gong received the BSc in Computer Science in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree in Management Science and Engineering from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, in 2013. He is currently a Professor at Chongqing Jiaotong University, Chongqing, China from 2016. He is also a visiting Professor in University of Nevada Las Vegas, a postdoc of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and reviewer for 20 professional journals. He has published 38 professional papers including papers published in top journals like IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON FUZZY SYSTEMS, and an ESI highly-cited paper. He receives 7 grants from NSFC, MOE, China Postdoctoral science foundation, and Chongqing government. His research interests include decision support systems, transportation systems, and logistics and supply chain management.
Ligang Cui
CUI is a jointly educated Ph.D of HUST (Huazhong University of Science & Technology) and CityU (City Univeristy of Hongkong). Elaborating on Operations & Management Sciences for years, Dr. CUI (Leon) has garnered much professional knowledge of his realms. Being well-versed with the solving analytics, CU’s research interests now are mainly in the cost and effect analysis of RFID investment to different systems, the variations of JRP models and corresponding solving methodologies, the battery electrical vehicle locationing, and AI & BI. He is now the principal investigator of several research programs from DoE and Enterprises. Of all CUI’s achievements, his most cherished and satisfied thing is the well established relationships with his teachers, classmates, colleagues and his students.
Mengying Feng
Mengying Feng holds the degrees of BA (Chongqing), BSc(Chongqing), MBA(Nottingham, UK) and PhD(Hull, UK), and the title of Chongqing “BAYU Scholar”, Chongqing High-Level Talent. She acts as a professor, Dean Assistant and Director of Chongqing Research Center of Intelligent SCM Engineering & Technology.
Mengying has got the memberships of CSCMP, CILT, BAM, CLI, etc. She has authored a number of publications in SCMIJ, IJPR, PPC, TRE, BSE, etc. Her research interests lie in the areas of green logistics and SCM, port performance and operations management. She is also a module convener of Management, Supply Chain Management, Hazardous Goods Transportation, Criteria and Laws &Regulations for Logistics.
Nan Liu
Nan Liu holds the degrees of BA (Chongqing), MSc (Chongqing) and PhD (Salford, UK). He acts as a professor in management. He has the membership of China’s Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and International Council for Building.
Nan has undertaken a number of different research projects and published on decent journals. His research interests include Construction and Property Informatics, Project Management, Real Estate Development, and International Business.
Qi Yao
Qi Yao holds the degrees of BA (Wuhan), BSc (Wuhan), MBA (Wuhan University, China), PhD (Wuhan University, China), and Post-doctor (Peking University, China). As a visiting Scholar, he has been in University of Central Florida (USA) and City University of Hong Kong. He acts as a professor of Marketing, Director of Transportation and Brand Internationalization institute of Western Transportation and Economics-Social Developing Research Center.
Qi Yao is the council member of China Marketing Association of University, anonymous reviewer of National Science Foundation of China, anonymous reviewer of Acta Psychologica Sinica. He has authored a number of publications in many top journals. His research interests lie in the areas of brand management and consumer behavior. He is also a module convener of Marketing Research and Brand management.
Wantao Yu
Wantao Yu is a professor of Roehampton Business School. Previously he worked at the University of Kent, University of East Anglia and Buckinghamshire New University. His current research interests include big data analytics for operations and supply chain management, supply chain integration, sustainability in operations and supply chains, supply chain resilience, retail operations and logistics, lean manufacturing, and innovation and entrepreneurship in emerging markets. His work has been published in journals such as International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Production Planning & Control, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Business Strategy and the Environment, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, and Decision Support Systems.
Wei Zhao
Wei Zhao holds the degrees of BS (Hubei), MTCSOL(Chongqing). He had been worked in Confucius institute Khonkaen University Thailand as a Chinese teacher for 2 years. He got the Certificate of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in 2016. Six professional years of experience in teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages.
Wenjie Zeng
Associate Professor Wenjie Zeng holds the degrees of BSc (Sichuan), Master of Science degree (Sichuan). He had been worked in an pharmaceutical company as an Engineer for 12 years. He got the Doctor of Management in 2011. Six professional years of experience in teaching at Chongqing Jiaotong University.
Xia Zhang
Xia Zhang holds the degree of PhD(Hubei) in management. She acts as an associate professor in the School of Economics and Management, Chongqing Jiaotong University. Xia Zhang obtained the membership of expert database of Chongqing commerce commission. Her research interests lie in the areas of Marketing, SMEs, Strategic Management, Industrial Economy and other fields. She studied in the United States as a visiting scholar for one year.
She has published more than 20 articles in academic journals while written 2 monographs and 2 textbooks. She has undertaken 6 provincial-level projects and 7 university-level projects; and participated in more than 20 national, provincial and municipal projects.
Zhaoju Zou
Zhaoju Zou holds the degrees of Bachelor of management (Wuhan), Master of management (Wuhan), and PhD(Wuhan).She acts as an associate professor in Accounting Department, School of Economics and Management.
Zhaoju has authored a number of publications in Economic Management Journal, Science & Technology Progress and Policy, Communication of Finance and Accounting, Friends of Accounting, etc. Her research interests lie in the areas of impact of culture on Accounting, Accounting and Auditing issues in ear of big data, and case study related to enterprise management. She is also one of the core members of the western China transportation- Economy-Society Development Study Center.
